Custom development is where Aurelis began. Our perfumers work at a bench surrounded by hundreds of raw materials — naturals, absolutes, modern captives and workhorse aroma chemicals — and build fragrances the traditional way: accord by accord, blotter by blotter.
From brief to accord
A good brief rarely arrives as a formula. It arrives as a mood, a memory, or a benchmark — “the confidence of a boardroom at midnight,” “a monsoon garden.” We translate the language of feeling into the language of perfumery: families, facets, materials, concentration. From that brief we compose two to four distinct interpretations, each compounded by hand, matured, and shipped as a numbered sampling set. You wear them, react, and we modify — brighter opening, deeper drydown, more projection. Most projects reach sign-off within three to five rounds; we continue until the juice is unmistakably yours.
Engineering the invisible
Every candidate formula is checked for IFRA compliance for its intended application and put through stability protocols — heat, cold, light and time — so month twelve smells like month one. We formulate from parfum-strength extraits at 30%+ oil load down to functional levels for mists, diffusers and personal care bases, engineered for Indian heat, humidity and long days.
Ownership and exclusivity
A fragrance developed for you is ring-fenced to your brand under our exclusivity terms — it never enters our white-label library and is never offered to another client. The same formula scales from pilot batches to bulk production without reformulation. The result is the most valuable asset a fragrance brand can own: a scent people recognise with their eyes closed and buy again without hesitation.
